L'angoscia delle macchine
- Artefact Type:
-
theatrical piece
- Description:
- Futurist tragic synthesis with a sci-fi setting ahead of its time, written by the lesser-known Futurist author Ruggero Vasari, who had significant connections with the European avant-gardes. The play stages a dystopic representation of an ultra-technological society dominated by machines and robots, and revolves around the tragic opposition between the unstoppable technological and male-dominated civilization and a sort of atavic human and more feminine consciousness-identity.
